Berni is a pretty young lady, with a small body and beautiful shiny coat. She’s calm and stable, very friendly and cuddly toward familiar faces; only a little shy with strangers. It will take her a little while to warm up to new environment. Her short tail is quite unique, in Chinese legend people believe it will bring with her good luck. Please watch her videos to learn more about this sweet young lady!
About Berni’s rescue:
Together with four other strays, Berni was raised by an old man. The old man lived in a shabby rental house and relied on welfare for a living. Then one day, the old man got sick and was too weak to take care of himself; he was moved into nursing home. Berni and her friends became homeless again. Neighbors sought help from the rescuer. When the domestic adoption program was exhausted, Berni was enlisted for foreign adoption.
Berni is doing very well in her foster home. She is neutered, with up to date vaccinations and microchip. She’s ready for her forever home as long as she’s given a second chance.
