Bernie is a sweet boy, friendly, playful, and yet very stable for his young age. Billy follows commands well, could be a bit shy when introduced to strangers, but warms up quickly with treats; he’s very affectionate and cuddly with familiar faces. He gets along very well with other dogs and also cats; will do best with family with another doggie companion. Bernie’s potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; well behaved inside the house, not a chewer or barker. His favorite pastime is hanging out with doggie playmates and daily walks. Bernie’s rescue story:
Bernie and his siblings were put in a box and left on the roadside when they were only around one month old. Their cry for food caught the attention of the volunteer. With no choice but to pick them up, the volunteer has been nursing them and prepared these young pups for adoption since.
