Didi is a mellow pup, very friendly and playful. Though a bit on the shy side, Didi is gentle and tame by nature. He behaves well in the household; he’s crate and potty trained, not a barker or chewer. He is curios when encountering strangers and would initiate the interaction as long as he’s approached by people with a calm and friendly manner. He could get skittish around unfamiliar surroundings, but would never show any signs of aggressiveness. He’s close to familiar faces and does well with other dogs as well as cats; he is able to share food and toys.

Keeping his leash on is recommended when first introduce him to a new home; use food as reward to encourage interaction and gradually building up his confidence level. He feels rather secure in his kennel; so when he is tired or scared, he would usually retreat inside his kennel. He does well staying in the kennel during the day for couple hours before to be let out to potty. Didi will do best for family without young children and a yard or park nearby for him to potty and exercise.

About Didi’s rescue:
DiDi and his siblings were found by the volunteer when he fed the strays in the suburban grave site. Knowing how tough it would be for young pups to survive in that harsh environment, the volunteer took them back and tried to land them adoption opportunities.
