James is a sweet young pup with charming personality besides his handsome look. He’s friendly and affectionate, a total cuddle bug when around familiar faces. It only took him a short while to overcome shyness when encountering strangers. Like any young pups, he enjoys the company of other dogs, but does not like to be around cats. He’s stable and calm by nature compared to average young pup his age, responds to recall well. He’s potty trained to go outside; also crate trained to sleep overnight; not a barker or chewer when inside the house. He will do best for family looking for sibling to their existing family dog.
About James’ rescue:
James and Margaret, the two siblings were abandoned at a deserted shed. They were kept alive by volunteer’s regular feeding. One day James was found lying on the ground with a sharp object pierced through his tummy. He was rushed to the hospital by the volunteer. A few days later, Margaret’s mouth was injured by a fishing hood. With both of them recovering in the hospital, the rescuer did not have the heart to send them back to the wilderness; she decided to find a permanent home for them.
