Jeff is a cute brindle pup! The rescuer first met Jeff & Jed near a grave yard on her routine feeding route. The two friendly pups approached the rescuer bagging for food and help. It was such a heart broken scene when the rescuer noticed the poor pups both had ropes tied around their muzzles; apparently some maniac did it to these innocent pups to stop them from eating or drinking; intentionally meant to starve them to death. Envisioned the cruelty of fellow human being and disgusted by it, the rescuer took the brothers home and nursed them back to health. 
Both pups lost hairs around their muzzles where they were tied by the rope. But there’re some white hairs grown on Jeff’s nose and evidenced the cruelty he’s been through. 

Not long after the loving care in foster home, the two brothers became very open and trusting. Jeff is friendly with strangers, kids and dogs; he likes to play with cats too. Jeff has no food aggression toward humans, but he doesn’t like other dogs around when having his meal and will give a low growl as warning; but he won't attack other dogs.
