Lou is a sweet boy with pleasant personality; very cute looking with a chubby body and short legs. We’re not sure of his mixed breeds, but he sure has the face of a Lab. and short legs of a Basset Hound. Lou is friendly and playful; he’s good around people of all ages, also gets along well with other dogs and cats. He’s very cuddly and affectionate with people he’s familiar with. He behaves well inside the house, with no barking or chewing issues. He’s potty trained outside of the house, and he responds to recall well.

Lou and his brother Luther were raised at the fishery as working dogs. They were chained on a short metal leash all the time, their owner showed up once every few days to feed them. When the rescuer found out their miserable living condition, whenever she passed by, she always set them loose to get some exercise. Until one day, their owner told the rescuer that he didn't want to keep them anymore. So the brothers were brought back by the rescuer and are being prepared for adoption.
