About Oreo: Oreo is a super sweet young pup with a loving heart; he adapted and thrived quickly in foster care. He is very sweet & affectionate, not a chewer or barker when inside the house. He’s very sociable, can easily befriend strangers and kids; also gets along well with dogs and cats. Oreo is good with children over 8, and is completely housebroken. He enjoys long walks and will do best with outdoorsy family! Oreo’s rescue story: Oreo and his siblings were kept at a cow barn since they were born. Even though their living condition were filthy and restricted, that’s the only place the kind farmer could offer to keep them safe. A few months later, another eight puppies were born by two stray mothers at the farm. This time the farmer had to ask the TNR group for help. When the volunteer of TNR showed up to spay the mother dogs, she noticed the poor living condition Oreo and his siblings were in. Oreo and his siblings were taken to the hospital for a complete physical checkup. Meanwhile, we responded to the volunteer’s request for help and took over the stray puppies’ following adoption process. Oreo was treated with anemia and ear infection, and has been fully recovered. He’s now very healthy, with up to date vaccinations.
