Peanut is a pretty young pup with pleasant personality. She’s sweet, friendly and affectionate, a total love bug when around familiar faces. It only took her a short while to overcome shyness when introduced to strangers. She’s stable and calm by nature, always aimed to please; nevertheless, very playful and active like average young pups. She gets along well with other dogs and stays calm around cats. She responds to recall well; also crate trained to sleep overnight; not a barker or chewer when inside the house. Peanut will be a great addition for any type of family who’s looking for a loyal companion dog.

Peanut’s rescue story:
For many days Peanut was wandering at the parking area of a mountain resort, apparently looking for her owner. The rescuer managed to lure her onto her car and headed to the vet for a checkup. Through the chip she’s wearing, they located Peanut’s owner. Sadly his owner suggested sending her to shelter, rather than taking her back.
Touched by Peanut’s friendliness toward humans, the rescuer posted her story on line seeking for adoption opportunity, but in vain. Finally, we responded to the rescuer and enlisted Peanut in our adoption program.
